Granule cell
The most abundant type of neurons in the brain found in the granular layer of the cerebellum, the dentate gyrus, superficial layer of the dorsal cochlear nucleus, the cerebral cortex and the olfactory bulb.
In the dentate gyrus they are the main projecting neurons.
